I went to a screening tonight of the new DisneyNature documentary called Chimpanzee. Disney’s approach to these documentaries are extremely well done and can be watched and understood by everyone. Chimpanzee follows a group of Chimps in the jungles of Africa but mainly focusing on a new born named Oscar and the difficulties he goes through and his way to start to grow up. The story is very heartfelt, sad, and funny at times with a good narration provided by Tim Allen. Not everyone is used to watching Documentaries but this one is filmed in a way where it’s very enjoyable and you sort of feel like your watching a regular movie. I highly recommend this film and suggest you take your kids both young and old to see this because everyone will enjoy it. It’s not that long but you get a feeling your being taken into a world you have never experienced so it makes it feel even shorter than it really is.
